In the fiscal year 2023-24, Pakistan’s pharmaceutical goods exports rose to $341.023 million, a 3.90 per cent increase over the previous year’s total of $328.210 million.
As reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the volume of exported pharmaceutical goods surged by 44.38 per cent, climbing from 59,213 metric tons to 85,492 metric tons within the same period.

Additionally, on a year-on-year basis, exports of pharmaceutical products in June 2024 experienced a substantial growth of 32.92 percent compared to June 2023, with figures reaching $29.128 million up from $21.914 million as reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
However, a month-on-month comparison shows a decrease in pharmaceutical exports; June 2024 witnessed a reduction of 24.47 percent in exports, dropping to $29.128 million from $38.566 million in May 2024.
