Pakistan set a target of 179 runs for Bangladesh in the third T20I at Shere Bangla National Stadium on July 24, 2025, with Sahibzada Farhan scoring a fifty. Despite already having an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series, Pakistan sought to salvage some pride by making key changes to their lineup. The hosts made five alterations to their playing XI, while Pakistan introduced Farhan and Hussain Talat into their team.

Sahibzada Farhan scored a half-century that anchored Pakistan’s innings, helping the team set a challenging target of 179 runs. Under the captaincy of Agha Salman, Pakistan demonstrated resilience after losing the first two T20Is. Meanwhile, Bangladesh, resting some key players, turned to fresh faces like Tanzid Hasan and Taskin Ahmed to chase down the target.

Pakistan made two changes to their team, replacing Fakhar Zaman with Sahibzada Farhan and Khushdil Shah with Hussain Talat. Meanwhile, Bangladesh made five changes, introducing Tanzid Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, and Nasum Ahmed to the squad. They rested Parvez Hossain Emon, Towhid Hridoy, Rishad Hossain, Tanzim Hasan, and Mustafizur Rahman.

Pakistan Playing XI: Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Mohammad Haris (wk), Hasan Nawaz, Agha Salman (c), Mohammad Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf, Abbas Afridi, Salman Mirza, Ahmed Daniyal.

Bangladesh Playing XI: Litton Das (c & wk), Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Naim Sheikh, Mehidy Hassan Miraz, Jaker Ali Anik, Shamim Hossain Patwary, Md Saifuddin, Shak Mahedi Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Nasum Ahmed.

Bangladesh clinched the series with wins in the first two games, including a seven-wicket victory in the opener. Pakistan’s adjustments aim to counter the hosts’ strong home form ahead of the Asia Cup.
