Pakistan will open their campaign in the Pakistan U-18 Asia Cup schedule against China on May 30 in Kakamigahara, Japan. The tournament, organised by the Asian Hockey Federation, runs from May 29 to June 6 and features top junior teams from across Asia.

The opening match is set for 11:00 AM PKT, marking Pakistan’s first test in Pool B of the competition.

Pakistan’s U-18 Asia Cup schedule begins with China on May 30, followed by Malaysia on May 31 and Bangladesh on June 3. All group matches will determine qualification for the knockout stage, with semi-finals on June 5 and the final on June 6 in Japan.

Pakistan Fixtures Confirmed for Group Stage

The Pakistan U-18 Asia Cup schedule includes three crucial matches in Pool B:

  • May 30: Pakistan vs China — 11:00 AM PKT
  • May 31: Pakistan vs Malaysia — 3:00 PM PKT
  • June 3: Pakistan vs Bangladesh — 3:00 PM PKT

These matches will decide standings before the knockout rounds. Pakistan must secure strong results early to improve its chances of reaching the semi-finals.

Nine teams are divided into two pools for the event. Pool A includes India, Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Kazakhstan, while Pool B features Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh and China.

The tournament is being hosted at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Hockey Stadium in Kakamigahara City, Gifu Prefecture, according to the Japan Hockey Association.

Teams compete in group-stage matches within their pools. The top teams advance to the semi-finals, followed by a final and third-place match. Classification games determine rankings for teams outside the top positions.
