The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) the player draft for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), originally set for Gwadar, Balochistan; the event will now occur at Huzoori Bagh, Lahore Fort in Lahore, due to unforeseen logistical challenges.
“The PSL draft is now set for January 13 at Huzoori Bagh, Lahore Fort, starting at 12:30 PM,” the PCB stated.
Additionally, Lahore will be prominently featured in the PSL 2025 Trophy Tour across Pakistan, highlighting its significance in this landmark 10th edition of the league. The tournament, which will take place from April 8 to May 19, will see six franchises assemble their teams during the draft ceremony.
The PCB also released the pick order for the player draft. The two-time champions, the Lahore Qalandars, will make the first selection in the platinum category’s opening round, followed by their archrivals, the Karachi Kings. The 2019 champions, the Quetta Gladiators, will pick third, while Peshawar Zalmi will take the fourth spot.

The previous season’s runners-up, the Sultans, and the reigning champions, United, will make the fifth and sixth picks, respectively.
All six teams have announced their player retentions in preparation for the draft, setting the stage for an exciting roster selection process.
