The Pakistan Shaheens are the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 champions. They secured the title with a thrilling super over victory against Bangladesh A in a tense final on Sunday.

Both teams finished their 20 overs tied at 125 runs. The Shaheens then chased a 7-run target in the super over, with Saad Masood hitting a boundary to seal the win.

Bangladesh A started their chase of 126 runs confidently. However, Pakistan’s spinners quickly applied pressure, taking regular wickets.

The Tigers found themselves in deep trouble at 53 for 7. A late fightback, led by Abdul Gaffar Saqlain’s three sixes, helped them tie the match and force the super over.

Saad Masood then played a crucial innings. His 38 runs from 26 balls helped Pakistan reach a competitive total of 125.
