Pakistan jumped seven places up in Davis Cup international rankings following their victory over Chinese Taipei in the final of Asia/Oceania Group-II.

According to the Davis Cup rankings updated on Monday, Pakistan moved to 34th position with 740.94 points.

Earlier, Pakistan had improved their rankings by defeating Indonesia in the semi-finals in July.

Meanwhile, International Tennis Federation (ITF) announced seeds for Draw for 2016 Davis Cup on Tuesday. The draws for 2016 Americas Zone Group I, Asia/Oceania Zone Groups I and II, and Europe/Africa Zone Group I will take place at the ITF AGM in Santiago, Chile, on Wednesday.

India are top seed and Uzbekistan second in Asia/Oceania Zone Group I. The remaining nations of the group are China, Korea, New Zealand, and Pakistan.
