Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz earlier yesterday met the Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on the sidelines of the SAARC meeting in Kathmandu, Nepal.
During his meeting with Indian counterpart, Aziz handed over an invitation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to SAARC summit to be held in Pakistan.
Sartaj Aziz and Sushma Swaraj are in Nepal to attend the SAARC Ministerial summit, where they held an informal meeting at the breakfast earlier in the day.
Both the leaders were seen sitting next to each other on the breakfast table with other dignitaries.
The two are likely to discuss revival of the comprehensive dialogue process between the two neighbouring countries during their formal meeting that is underway.
