Islamabad: The 4Pakistan income tax calculator for FY2026-27 will change if parliament approves the proposed salary tax relief announced by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the federal budget on Friday.
Aurangzeb told the National Assembly that the government proposed income tax relief in four slabs for salaried individuals. He also announced the proposed abolition of the surcharge on the salaried class.
The finance minister said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government recognised the difficulties faced by public and private salaried workers. He said the relief was proposed on the premier’s instructions.
