A Pakistan earthquake measuring magnitude 5.2 jolted Islamabad, Peshawar and several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday, the Seismic Monitoring Centre said.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 125 kilometres, according to the monitoring centre.
The Seismic Monitoring Centre said the epicentre was located in the border region between Tajikistan and China.

Tremors were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other parts of the province. No immediate reports of damage or casualties were received after the earthquake.
