Pakistan’s military has intercepted 77 Indian drones and reported five civilian deaths along the Line of Control (LoC), escalating tensions in the ongoing India-Pakistan conflict.
Security sources confirm that the drones, identified as Israeli-made Harop models, targeted both civilian and military sites. Additionally, Indian shelling on residential areas resulted in significant casualties.
Since Wednesday, May 7, Pakistan’s army neutralised 29 drones by Thursday evening, with an additional 48 downed overnight into Friday, according to security sources. On the LoC, Indian forces used heavy artillery in Hajeera, Forward Kahuta, and Khuiratta, killing five civilians and injuring seven. The Pakistan Army responded swiftly, forcing Indian troops to raise a white flag near Dharamsal 2 post after sustained retaliation.
