The Pakistan Hockey Federation praised the team’s performance, citing attacking intensity and disciplined play against a strong Malaysian side.

Pakistan’s goals came from Rana Waheed Ashraf, Zakariya Hayat, Ahmed Nadeem, Muhammad Sufyan Khan, and Muhammad Ammar, helping the side control key moments in a fast-paced, high-scoring match.
