Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir declared that Pakistan will confront any threats to its sovereignty with full force, emphasising the importance of national unity in the fight against terrorism in Balochistan.

COAS Speaking at the 15th National Workshop in Balochistan, he reaffirmed the military’s commitment to regional peace and development.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported, “During a workshop at General Headquarters on Monday, General Munir declared, ‘If Pakistan’s sovereignty is violated, we will respond with full force to protect our national prestige and well-being.’ He identified foreign-sponsored terrorism as the main threat to Balochistan and vowed to counter hostile elements fueling violence and fear. ‘Terrorism knows no religion or ethnicity and demands a united response,’ he asserted, condemning groups exploiting Baloch identity to sow division.”
