In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Ozzy Osbourne, 77, Prince Of Darkness, made a surprising admission about his family life in a candid interview.
The rock star Ozzy Osbourne, who has six children, declared that his daughter Kelly is his favourite. He also reflected on the impact of their family’s reality show, “The Osbournes,” which aired from 2002 to 2005.
Ozzy discussed the authenticity of “The Osbournes,” contrasting it with today’s scripted reality shows. During the show, he reminisced about their family life’s chaotic and unfiltered nature, mentioning incidents involving fire and frequent cursing.
However, he acknowledged that the show eventually strained the family, especially when the producers suggested staged activities. Ozzy revealed that the decision to end the show was influenced by the negative effects it had on his children and his wife Sharon’s battle with cancer.
Ozzy has three children with his wife Sharon – Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. He also adopted his first wife, Thelma Mayfair’s son, Elliot Kingsley, and has two other children with Thelma, Louis and Jessica Osbourne. Currently, Ozzy finds immense joy being a grandfather, particularly with Kelly’s son Sidney, born in 2022 to Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson.
He expressed delight in his relationship with his grandson and the opportunity to be more present than when his children were growing up. Concluding the interview, Ozzy affirmed his special bond with Kelly, even acknowledging that she is his favourite child, a fact he believes his other children are well aware of.
