One citizen was killed and four school childern were injured when Indian army opened unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday.
According to initial reports, the incident took place in Nakyal sector of Kotli district where a mortar fired by Indian troops landed near a van carrying children of a private school.
Officials said the van driver, identified as Asad, was injured and later died of his injuries, while four children were wounded.
The injured children are between the age of eight and fifteen years. Those injured were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Kotli.
