At least twelve people were killed as a AC Coach and Bolan Vehicle collided in Rashidabad area late yesterday night.
Nine of those killed were of a same family.
According to the details, two vehicles coming from opposite sides had a head on collision stuck against each other at Rashidabad area due to over speeding and killed twelve people including nine of a same family along with also driver and conductor of the coach.
The coach was going from Sadiqabad to Sargodha.
The incident was so powerful that a tractor parked near the site of accident was also struck with the ill fated vehicles, killing the driver on the spot.
The rescue teams rushed to the site of incident and shifted the killed and injured to hospitals. Arrangements are being made to dispatch the dead bodies to their native towns.
The police has commenced investigations into the incident. (APP)
