Nine injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast in Shabqadar area of Charsadda on Monday.
According to security forces, the terrorists detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) in Mian Kalay area of Shabqadar targeting a police van.
The remote controlled bomb device was planted along the road, which was detonated when a police van patrolling in the area passed through the spot leaving nine people injured, a police official said. A private vehicle was also damaged in the incident.
The injured were transferred to hospital for medical attendance. Four injured of the blast have been in a precarious condition, hospital sources said.
Security agencies have cordoned off the area after the incident.
