A man dressed in a Sindh Rangers uniform robbed a local parkway centre in Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13-D area, Karachi.
The incident, captured on video, quickly spread across social media. In the footage, the suspect can be seen brandishing a pistol as he approaches the shop and forcibly escorts the shopkeeper outside.
A police spokesperson reported that the individuals involved in the crime were disguised in the uniforms of a law enforcement agency. They threatened the shopkeeper at gunpoint, subsequently stealing a mobile phone and cash from him.
In response to the incident, police have proactively contacted the victim to collect more comprehensive details about the event.
Further, the East Police Spokesman confirmed that SP Gulshan supervises the investigation. This measure ensures that a thorough inquiry is conducted to apprehend and bring the culprits to justice, reinforcing the commitment to uphold law and order and protect citizens.
