New Jersey Police Chief’s Daughter Alleges Satanic Ritual Abuse in Lawsuit

The daughter of a New Jersey police chief has come forward with disturbing allegations of satanic ritual abuse spanning more than a decade. Courtney Tamagny, 20, claims she endured systematic torture and sexual violence at the hands of her father, Leonia Police Chief Scott Tamagny, and his neighbour, Kevin Slevin, from age 4 to 15.

In emotional appearances on the podcast ‘We’re All Insane’ and through a recently filed lawsuit, Tamagny described a hidden world of ritualistic abuse allegedly involving multiple perpetrators. She claims the abuse occurred both in homes and in nearby wooded areas, where she says participants conducted satanic ceremonies involving animal and human burnings. Tamagny alleges these violent rituals served to terrorise victims into silence while fulfilling the perpetrators’ dark desires.

According to court documents, Tamagny repressed these traumatic memories until 2022, when treatment for unexplained genital pain triggered their return. Her therapist subsequently filed an official abuse report, leading to the current lawsuit. The legal filing further alleges Tamagny’s sisters suffered similar abuse, with their police chief father allegedly using drugs to incapacitate them before assaults.

Scott Tamagny and Kevin Slevin have categorically denied all allegations. Slevin has filed a defamation countersuit, claiming federal authorities previously investigated and cleared him of similar accusations. The New Jersey Attorney General’s office has acknowledged the lawsuit but declined to comment on pending litigation.

Since coming forward, Tamagny and her mother, Jeanne, have launched a public campaign seeking accountability, including a Change.org petition demanding Scott Tamagny’s removal as police chief. The case has drawn national attention to rarely discussed allegations of organised ritual abuse, while raising difficult questions about investigating such claims when they involve law enforcement officials.

Legal experts note the case presents unusual challenges given the nature of the allegations and the position of the primary accused. As the lawsuit progresses, it may shed light on how the justice system handles claims of ritualistic abuse involving powerful figures. Both supporters and sceptics await further evidence as this disturbing case develops.
