Netflix outage reports surged across several countries late Monday and Tuesday, but the company’s official status page said Wednesday that its streaming service was operating normally.
The supplied report said complaints reached about 7.3 times the typical level. Users reported server, network and connectivity problems, along with apps freezing, crashing or loading content incorrectly.
The report attributed 25% of complaints to users in the United States and 25% to users in the United Kingdom. Canada accounted for 6%, although the report did not identify the outage tracker behind those percentages.
StatusGator data cited in the report showed complaints concentrated in the United Kingdom, California and Florida. Some users reported degraded performance rather than a complete service outage.
Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) did not post a separate incident explanation. Its Help Centre stated that Netflix was up and that the company was not experiencing a streaming interruption.
Downdetector’s Pakistan page also showed no current Netflix problems on Wednesday. The tracker declares an incident only when user reports rise significantly above the normal volume for that time of day.

The available data did not establish the cause of the reported disruption or confirm that every complaint resulted from a failure within Netflix’s systems.
