Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that, “the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) needs to take up cases only after thorough initial investigation.”

Addressing a gathering of PML-N workers in Bahawalpur, PM Nawaz said, “No one should be harassed without verification and solid proofs.”

The Premier said he would also take up the issue with the Chairman NAB. He warned if any person was unduly persecuted the government would take action.

He regretted that the previous governments failed in their duty to serve the masses.

PM Sharif said continuity of policies was vital for progress and the country saw unprecedented development during all his tenures.

Nawaz Sharif asserted that completion of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would be a game changer.

The PM vowed to strengthen and empower the local governments (LG) to address the problems faced by the people.

He said people have pinned great expectations with the LB representations and they will fully empowered to serve the masses.
