Vehari: A murder convict has been hanged to death at district Vehari jail on early this morning.
in June 20, 1991 death house inmate Abdul Ghafoor abducted his eight-year niece and killed her after sexual assault in Kahror Pakka. The convict suspected his wife to be in illicit relationship with his brother.
District and Sessions Judges Lodhran issued his death warrant on April 22 after President of Pakistan dismissed his clemency appeal on April 6.
