A convict sitting on death row was executed in the Central Jail of Mainwali early on morning today.
According to the jail officials, Naimat Gul was convicted of killing a man over a marriage dispute in 1993. The mercy plea of Gul had been rejected.
After receiving the death warrants, the jail authorities arranged a final meeting of Gul with his family and later sent him to gallows early on Wednesday.
