YouTube creator MrBeast married Thea Booysen during an intimate July 2026 ceremony on Richard Branson’s Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, celebrated with about 70 relatives and close friends during a week-long gathering that began on July 14. The couple chose a private event rather than a large public production.
A family friend, an ordained minister, conducted the ceremony. Booysen wore a custom Nicole + Felicia Couture gown, while Donaldson wore a Ralph Lauren tuxedo.
The reception included live entertainment, games and a first dance to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile.” Guests were served sushi, Wagyu beef, fish and carrot cake.
Booysen is a South African gamer, content creator and published author who uses the online name TheaBeasty. She has studied law and psychology and holds a master’s degree in human cognitive neuropsychology.

The couple met during Donaldson’s 2022 visit to South Africa, after a mutual friend invited Booysen to dinner. They initially maintained a long-distance relationship before becoming engaged on Christmas Day in 2024
