MQM leader Altaf Hussain warned that his party would stage protests across the world if he was denied Pakistani passport.
“If I am not Pakistan than nobody is. No power in the world can deprive my of my Pakistani nationality,” Hussain said in a statement today.
He said that he went to Pakistani mission in London to apply for his passport and that NADRA staff got his finger prints and photograph.
“I was given a receipt, which token number is 3 and tracking ID is: 503601007637,” he said.
Hussain added that Pakistani envoy Wajid Shamsul Hasan was also witness to his application.
“One month has passed, but I have not been issued my identity card,” he said.
