Rangers and local administrative authorities continued to seal and bulldozed offices of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
According to local news channels, 218 offices have been sealed and 13 were bulldozed since MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s speech led to an attack at a media house.
Party’s Unit and Sector offices were demolished in Cattle Colony, Sachal Colony, Tariq bin Ziad Society, Quaidabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, New Town and Kharadar Railway Colony.
178 Unit offices and 22 sector offices are said to have been established in schools, parks and lands owned by the Water Board.
Large number of spectators gathered in the areas where heavy machinery was brought to demolish the offices of the political party, with some of them stealing objects from under the rubble.
Offices of MQM in Karachi University was also vacated while posters of Altaf Hussain and party flags were removed.
