Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haider Abbas Rizvi condemned Pakistan People Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statement against Altaf Hussain, asking him to control his “namaloom afraad”
Speaking in a press conference in Karachi, the MQM leader said, “We don’t consider Bilawal’s statement a slip of tongue as he was reading out a scripted speech.
Rizvi also said the PPP leader’s words have hurt the lovers and supporters of Altaf Hussain.
Rizvi also warned PPP and said ‘Bilawal must use proper words especially when he is going to hold a public rally in Karachi on October 18”
Rizvi again spoke about controversial issue of the new provinces, saying no one can stop making of the new provinces in Pakistan on administrative basis.
He further clarified that MQM lawmakers in Sindh Assembly will submit a requisition and seek explanation from PPP legislators including chief minister Sindh about statement of Bilawal. Similarly, the MQM will raise voice in National Assembly and the Senate about threatening statements from the PPP leader.
“We are pondering over to launch country-wide protest in this connection.”
The MQM leader criticized the Bilawal’s party, saying the PPP is now a local party, confined to rural Sindh only.
“MQM will demand explanation of the PPP chairman’s statement in the Sindh Assembly and senate”, he added
