On September 29, 2025, Iran executed Bahman Choubi-asl. The judiciary’s news outlet, Mizan, called him “one of the most important spies for Israel in Iran.”

The Supreme Court upheld his death sentence for “corruption on earth” and rejected his appeal. According to Mizan, Choubi-asl worked with Israel’s Mossad to access government databases. He also helped breach Iranian data centers and investigated routes for importing electronic devices.

Iran’s secret war with Israel turned into open conflict in June 2025. Israel carried out strikes and Mossad commando operations inside Iran. Since then, Iran has executed at least 10 people accused of working with Mossad. This shows the rising tension between the two countries.

Choubi-asl’s execution is part of Iran’s effort to stop spying during the ongoing conflict. The judiciary claims Mossad used him to get sensitive information and harm Iran’s infrastructure. Iran often accuses Israel of secret actions to weaken its security.

About 70% of Iranians support a tough stance against Israel. The recent executions, including Choubi-asl’s, show Iran’s strong response to spying. These actions affect peace and stability in the region.
