Asim Munir Spends Eid with Troops in Kurram

The Asim Munir Eid visit to Kurram brought a strong message of unity and commitment, as Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir spent Eid-ul-Fitr 2026 with troops and officers in the region.

Field Marsha offered Eid prayers alongside soldiers and prayed for Pakistan’s stability and prosperity. The visit underscored the leadership’s direct engagement with frontline personnel.

During his interaction, the Field Marshal extended heartfelt Eid greetings to officers and troops. He praised their high morale, professionalism, and unwavering dedication.

According to ISPR, he commended their role in safeguarding the nation under challenging conditions. General Asim Munir highlighted the achievements of troops during Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq. The operation focuses on dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring lasting peace in border areas.

He acknowledged the Jawans’ courage and resilience. Moreover, he emphasised that their efforts continue to strengthen national security. The Field Marshal asserted that terrorists operating from sanctuaries across the border in Afghanistan will not be allowed to threaten Pakistan’s security.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace. At the same time, he stressed that Afghan soil must not be used for hostile activities against Pakistan.

General Asim Munir credited operational success to the sacrifices of martyrs and the determination of officers and soldiers.

He expressed pride in the troops’ steadfastness. Furthermore, he reiterated the Armed Forces’ commitment to defending Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Upon arrival, the Field Marshal received a warm welcome from the Corps Commander Peshawar. The visit reflected strong coordination within military leadership.
