Former chief selector and coach Mohsin Khan turned down an offer to work in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by Shaharyar Khan during the chairman’s visit to Karachi.
The PCB chief’s meeting with Mohsin and Rashid Latif, two of the most vocal opponents of the board’s policies, was met with raised eyebrows amid speculations that job offers might be on the cards.
When Mohsin was contacted about the issue, he confirmed the news.
“I had a very cordial meeting with Shaharyar, who praised my work as chief selector and coach of Pakistan,” Mohsin told The Express Tribune.
“I respect his gesture of calling on former players and discussing matters regarding Pakistan cricket. He wanted me to work with the PCB, but I told him that I will serve the nation at the right time and with the right people.”
