A prominent journalist, Asif Bashir Chaudhry, reported on a YouTube program that Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is expected to resign soon.

Chaudhry cites multiple sources confirming this information and indicates that senior Pakistan Muslim Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah is seriously considering taking over the Ministry of Interior.

During the YouTube program on Naya Dur TV, Chaudhry elaborated on the reasons behind Naqvi’s anticipated resignation.

According to him, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and its allied parties are not satisfied with Naqvi’s performance, specifically his inability to effectively defend and articulate government policies.

The journalist also noted that some international allies have raised concerns regarding Naqvi’s conduct, further influencing the decision regarding his potential resignation.
