REDMOND: Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) said its revenue rose 18% to US$90 billion in the fiscal fourth quarter, driven by 43% growth in Azure and other cloud services.

The quarter ended June 30, 2026. Microsoft’s revenue exceeded the US$87.62 billion that analysts surveyed by FactSet had expected, according to the Associated Press.

Net income increased 31% to US$35.77 billion from US$27.23 billion a year earlier. Diluted earnings reached US$4.81 per share, up 32%.

The results included a US$3.2 billion gain from Microsoft’s investment in Anthropic. Other expenses, including severance and Xbox impairment charges, partly offset that gain, the company said.

Just wrapped our earnings call.

It was a very strong close to what was a record fiscal year for Microsoft.

· Annual revenue: $331B, +18%
· MS Cloud: $214B, + 27%
· And Azure: $100B, +41%

And even bigger opportunity ahead!

I wanted to share some more perspective on two areas…

Microsoft Cloud revenue increased 27% to US$59.3 billion. Commercial remaining performance obligations rose 84% to US$678 billion.

The Intelligent Cloud segment, which includes Azure, generated US$39.3 billion in revenue. The segment grew 32%, while Azure and other cloud services revenue increased 43%.

Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella said Azure’s annual revenue exceeded US$100 billion for the first time during fiscal 2026. Microsoft 365 Copilot also surpassed 30 million paid seats.

Xbox content and services revenue fell 10%. Windows original-equipment-manufacturer and devices revenue declined 7% amid weaker demand in the personal-computer market.

Microsoft reported full-year revenue of US$331.8 billion, up 18%. Annual net income rose 31% to US$133.75 billion.
