Reality TV star Jesse Lally said he learned of ex-wife Michelle Saniei’s rumored relationship with rapper Dr. Dre after photos showed the pair holding hands in Malibu.
Lally told TMZ he had no prior knowledge of the relationship, saying he saw the images “on social media the same way as everyone else” after the two were photographed leaving Nobu Malibu on April 25.
The The Valley star said Saniei, 37, is free to date following their divorce finalised in October 2025. “She’s single, and whatever makes her happy is cool,” he said, while urging focus on their six-year-old daughter, Isabella.
Lally added he hoped their daughter avoids “collateral damage,” referencing Saniei’s July 2025 split from Aaron Nosler, which he said had been difficult for the family. He also addressed past on-screen flirting between Saniei and co-star Tom Schwartz, calling it “cute” but not serious, and said the link with Dr. Dre, 61, “didn’t see that one coming.”

Fellow cast member Janet Caperna described the pairing as unexpected during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, saying it was “not on my bingo card.” Neither Saniei nor Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, has publicly confirmed the relationship.
