Wade Robson and James Safechuck have filed lawsuits against Michael Jackson’s estate for $400 million, claiming childhood sexual abuse. Details of the Michael Jackson lawsuit were made public on September 15, 2025, indicating that the legal fight is intensifying.

Robson, age 43, originally sued MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures in 2013. He alleges abuse from ages 7 to 14. Safechuck, now 47, filed in 2014 and claims Jackson groomed him after a 1988 Pepsi commercial. Both men spoke out in HBO’s 2019 documentary “Leaving Neverland,” which sparked global discussion about the lawsuits.

Jackson’s estate denies the accusations. A spokesperson stated, “The lawsuit has no merit; Michael is innocent.” Executors John Branca and John McClain warned that unpaid legal fees related to the Michael Jackson lawsuit could disrupt the court process, including depositions.

Paris Jackson, Michael’s daughter, reportedly opposes using estate funds for all legal costs. This adds another layer to the family dispute, as the estate manages Michael’s music, merchandise, and legacy.

In 2024, the estate settled with HBO, leading to “Leaving Neverland” being removed from the platform. While this was a small victory for Jackson’s estate, the lawsuits from Robson and Safechuck keep the issue alive and tied to the lawsuits filed against Michael Jackson.

The $400 million lawsuit could impact the estate’s money and Michael’s legacy. With most Americans aware of the allegations, public opinion is sharply divided. This high-profile case highlights the challenges, similar to those in the Michael Jackson lawsuit, of handling estates that face sensitive and public claims.

Michael Jackson’s estate is now facing a $400 million lawsuit over abuse allegations. Family disagreements and ongoing legal battles are putting the late pop star’s legacy in the spotlight due to the unfolding lawsuit.
