LAHORE, Punjab: The MG ZS Pakistan launch introduced one petrol and two self-charging hybrid variants priced between Rs6.599 million and Rs7.499 million, MG Motor Pakistan announced on July 31.
The company priced the Vibe at Rs6.599 million, Hybrid+ Excite at Rs7.099 million and Hybrid+ Essence at Rs7.499 million. Bookings opened across Pakistan with a minimum payment of Rs1.2 million.
The Vibe uses a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine with a continuously variable transmission. The two Hybrid+ models pair a 1.5-litre engine with a three-speed hybrid transmission, according to the company’s official specification sheet.
MG lists combined output for the hybrid system at 158kW and torque at 465Nm. Its official product information describes the Hybrid+ as a self-charging system with a 1.83kWh battery and no external charging port.

The manufacturer said all three variants include six airbags, electronic stability controls and advanced driver-assistance functions.
The specification sheet lists adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking and lane-keeping assistance among the safety systems.
The Hybrid+ Essence adds 18-inch wheels, an electronic panoramic sunroof, a powered tailgate, ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera. The Vibe and Hybrid+ Excite use 17-inch wheels.

Cargo capacity is listed at 443 litres with the rear seats upright and 1,457 litres when folded.
MG Motor Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Jianqiang Shao said the range was developed to combine safety, efficiency, technology and everyday practicality.
The performance and efficiency figures are manufacturer claims and have not been independently tested for Pakistani driving conditions.
