Menlo Park, California: Meta smart glasses launched under the company’s own brand, including a $299 base model and a $399 Kylie Jenner-designed version.
The new lineup is manufactured with EssilorLuxottica but does not carry Ray-Ban or Oakley branding. Forbes reported that the launch includes Meta Adventurer, Meta Fury and a Kylie Jenner collaboration model.
The glasses include a camera, personal speakers and a dedicated button that triggers Meta AI by default. Users can customise the button to open other features, according to Meta details.
Meta said the glasses offer more than eight hours of battery life. The charging case adds up to 40 extra hours of use, according to the same report.
The Meta AI assistant can answer questions about sports results and local restaurant recommendations. It can also recognise objects the user sees and support daily tasks.
Meta also announced future pedestrian navigation with step-by-step instructions and live translation support for 14 new languages. Wired reported that the glasses include 12MP photo capture, 3K video, microphones and speakers.
Jenner’s model includes customised voice notes. She said she recorded short lines, including a morning greeting, for people using the glasses.

The launch follows Snap’s unveiling of its “Specs” consumer smart glasses at $2,195. Meta’s lower price positions its glasses as a cheaper rival in the wearable-tech market.
