The Met Gala guest list for 2026 is beginning to take shape. Anna Wintour, Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams are confirmed as co-chairs for fashion’s biggest night.
The annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute will return to New York on the first Monday in May.
Organisers traditionally keep the full guest list confidential until arrivals begin. However, the event typically draws around 450 guests from film, music, fashion, sports and business.
Beyoncé’s role has drawn attention because it could mark her first Met Gala appearance in nearly a decade.
The host committee is also expected to attend. The list includes Aimee Mullins, A’ja Wilson, Angela Bassett, Doja Cat, Elizabeth Debicki, Gwendoline Christie, Jeff Bezos, Lauren Sánchez, Lisa, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith, Teyana Taylor and Zoë Kravitz.
Emma Chamberlain, Cara Delevingne, Ashley Graham and La La Anthony are expected to feature in red carpet interviews and livestream coverage.
This year’s theme, “Costume Art,” will focus on the dressed body and the relationship between clothing and the human form. This is according to Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton.
Among the rumoured attendees are Taylor Swift, Adele, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya.
