WASHINGTON, United States: Biographer Michael Wolff alleged that tensions between Melania Trump and Natalie Harp affected some of the first lady’s public appearances with President Donald Trump.
Wolff wrote in his Howl newsletter that Melania Trump would not appear with her husband when Harp was present. He also claimed Harp had become an unusually influential gatekeeper around the president.
However, there is no independent evidence confirming those claims. Semafor separately reported that Harp’s constant presence had unsettled some people inside the administration.
CNN also cited a White House insider describing Harp as highly loyal to Trump and closely involved in his daily information flow.

Harp, 35, serves as Trump’s executive assistant and remains closely involved in managing material reaching the president.
Newsweek offered a different interpretation of Melania Trump’s limited schedule, describing her approach to the first lady role as highly selective rather than evidence of a personal dispute.

There is no concrete evidence of an affair or any relationship beyond a professional association between Trump and Harp.
