Actress Megan Fox has leapt into the literary world, revealing that she’s penned a book of poetry. Titled ‘Pretty Boys are Poisonous’, this heartfelt collection is slated for a November 7 release.

Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish the piece. The official synopsis teases readers, hinting at Fox’s unique perspective: “With a touch of her inherent wicked humour, she presents a raw, dark, and emotionally intense collection of poems.” Over 80 poems unfold, each capturing how individuals often mould themselves based on their loved ones, sometimes at the cost of their identity.

Fox Delves Deeper into the Significance of Her Work

While the Instagram post piqued interest, her accompanying statement truly drew readers into the depth of her journey with this project.

Fox said earnestly, “I penned these poems as a form of catharsis, trying to free myself from an internal malaise that grew due to my prolonged silence.” Delving into more personal territory, she added, “I’ve borne the heavy burden of men’s secrets throughout my life, the weight of their sins making my body weary.”

She sees this book as liberating, saying, “These pages hold my freedom. I hope my words galvanize others, encouraging them to reclaim their joy and identity. They can bring light to what has long been obscured in the dark by voicing out what has been overshadowed.”
