Colombian influencer Maria Alejandra Esquin, 25, with 1 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, widely known as ‘Baby Demoni’ for her distinctive forked tongue and bold persona, was found dead in her home.
Influencer Yina Calderon, a close friend and renowned DJ, confirmed the news in viral social media videos, igniting a heated debate over whether Esquin’s death was suicide or murder.
Calderon claimed Esquin argued with her boyfriend, who later reported she had hanged herself. “Hospital tests showed signs of suffocation; it’s strange,” Calderon said. “I hope this doesn’t go unpunished.” Her emotional posts, shared late Wednesday, fueled speculation of foul play, drawing comparisons to high-profile influencer controversies.
