A piece of a concrete block from the newly built Rawalpindi Metro Bridge fell on his head of a pedestrian.
According to rescue sources, a block fell on the head of a pedestrian, he sustained serious wounds and died while being shifted to the hospital.
While talking to a popular local news channel ” Samaa Tv”, Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed criticized Pakistan Muslim Leagu-N leader Hanif Abbasi and said“I had already said this bridge would fall. Metro Bus could have run without this bride,”
Expressing sorrow over the incident, Hanif Abbasi vow to take action against those responsible within a week. He further added that “Only a stone has fallen not a pillar of the bridge”
