LAHORE, Punjab: The Mahnoor Safdar nikah was held at the Sharif family’s Jati Umra residence on Saturday, September 12, where she married Azan Jabbar, son of businessman Jabbar Khalid.
Close relatives and invited guests attended the private ceremony, including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb also attended the ceremony at Jati Umra.

The wedding came days after Mahnoor completed her Anthropology degree at SOAS University of London. Maryam Nawaz attended the September graduation ceremonies in London, which SOAS scheduled from September 8 to 10.
Mahnoor is the youngest of Maryam Nawaz and Captain Muhammad Safdar’s three children and studied at SOAS between 2023 and 2026.
