Singer Madonna has premiered “Confessions II,” a 13-minute music film featuring six songs from her upcoming album. The film also includes several high-profile cameos.
The film was unveiled last night. It includes music from “Confessions II,” which is set for release on July 3. Notably, this comes 21 years after “Confessions On A Dancefloor” arrived in 2005.
The most-discussed sequence appears on the unreleased track “Danceteria.” The scene shows Madonna moving through a bathroom. Meanwhile, Chelsea footballers Cole Palmer and João Pedro appear at urinals while a disco unfolds around them.
The sequence also features Richard E. Grant, Gwendoline Christie, Shygirl, Kate Moss and Benedict Cumberbatch dancing in cubicles.
Sabrina Carpenter, who collaborated with Madonna on the album’s lead single “Bring Your Love,” appears throughout the film.
