Islamabad: The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage Lok Virsa will organize Eid Mela from July, 9 till Eid-ul-Fiter.
An official of Lok Virsa told APP that Eid Mela would be opened for families only at Garden Avenue Shakarparian Hills during the month of Ramazan. He expressed the hope that the Mela would attract a large number of families from twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
This Mela would also encourage the country artisans as they would display their products at various stalls for sale, he added. He said it would be attended by the artisans from various parts of the country including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. The families would have an opportunity to buy various qualities of products for Eid-ul-Fitr at reasonable prices.
