Lewis Hamilton claimed his first Ferrari win Sunday at the Barcelona-Catalunya Formula One Grand Prix, ending championship leader Kimi Antonelli’s five-race winning streak.
The seven-time world champion finished ahead of Mercedes driver George Russell and Lando Norris. Antonelli was abandoned in the closing stages due to a technical issue.
Hamilton’s victory cut Antonelli’s championship lead to 41 points. The 41-year-old won almost two years after his previous Formula One race victory.

Russell, who started from pole, finished 19 seconds behind Hamilton. Norris completed an all-British podium.
Hamilton thanked Ferrari over team radio after the race. He also thanked fans, saying they had reminded him who he was.
Russell said Ferrari had a strong pace in Barcelona and called Hamilton’s speed “insane.” He said Mercedes needed to keep pushing after returning to the podium.
