Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) arrested four suicide bombers along with their handler from Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore late night yesterday.
According to LEAs sources, the suicide bombers were living at the residence of their facilitator located in a Lahore suburban area near Thokar Niaz Baig.
LEAs has also recovered firearms and suicide vests from their possession. All the bombers are aged between 17 and 21 years.
Earlier, Punjab’s Home Department issued a letter on identification by intelligence agencies regarding the arrival of five suicide bombers in Lahore.
The intelligence sources said one accomplice of the bombers was left near Lower Mall to achieve his target. He is unaccounted for so far. However the cops are making hectic efforts to nab him as well.
