Police and law enforcement agencies conducted a search operation late on late yesterday night near adjoining localities of Rawalpindi airport and arrested 45 suspects.
According to sources, those arrested also include two Afghan nationals. The nabbed suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Meanwhile, police launched a raid in Effindi Colony and captured five suspects who belonged to tribal areas.
Ministry of Interior had issued warnings in all provinces to tighten security as terrorists disguised as displaced persons might enter any province to take shelter and reorganize.
