Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has officially assigned portfolios to the 10-member cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, comprising newly appointed members. The cabinet was sworn in during a ceremony at the Governor’s House on Friday, with Governor Faisal Karim Kundi administering the oath of office. The event was attended by senior government officials and members of the assembly.

- Mena Khan Afridi: Minister for Local Government, Elections, and Rural Development
- Arshad Ayub Khan: Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education
- Aftab Alam Afridi: Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs, and Human Rights
- Fazal Shakoor: Minister for Public Health Engineering
- Muzamil Aslam Sheikh: Adviser to the CM for Finance
- Taj Muhammad Tarand: Adviser to the CM on Sports and Youth Affairs
- Shafi Ullah Jan: Special Assistant for Information
Other significant appointments include Dr. Amjad Ali as Housing Minister, Syed Fakhar Jahan for Excise and Taxation, Riyaz Khan for Irrigation, and Aqib Ullah Khan for the Relief and Rehabilitation department.
The portfolio announcements conclude the formation of the provincial government under Chief Minister Afridi. Sources indicate that the final cabinet composition was determined after consultations with senior party figures, including a meeting between CM Afridi and Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI’s founding chairman.
