KMC, Bahria Town sign MoU to lift garbage from Karachi

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) and Bahria Town have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to lift garbage from Karachi.

According to the MoU Bahria Town management will provide garbage lifting services in Karachi.

In a ceremony held in Karachi, Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz and Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar signed MoU.

Mayor, while talking to media said said that KMC and Bahria management have decided to work together after seeing the city lined with heaps of garbage and dirt.

“Today is a lucky day for the people of Karachi” the mayor said.

Malik Riaz said that “I said to the mayor that I am with you. We will improve Karachi’s condition [and] work under the guidance of the mayor,”

Malik Riaz said that he was inspired to work with the mayor on seeing Akhtar’s motivation to work for the betterment of the city.
