Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has unveiled a new collaboration with the global gaming phenomenon Fortnite. The project brings a lost piece of his iconic film “Kill Bill” to a massive new audience.

Tarantino revealed the news at a special Fortnite event held at his Vista Theatre in Los Angeles. He shared that the initial meeting with Epic Games took an unexpected turn. He arrived expecting to discuss character licensing, but the company had a more ambitious vision.

The director recalled a specific idea he had envisioned years ago. He located the original concept, sent it to Fortnite, and the team immediately agreed to produce it. “They were, like, ‘Let’s do this.’ And here we are,” Tarantino told the audience.

The project, titled “The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge,” marks a major reunion with actress Uma Thurman. She returns to voice and perform via motion capture for her legendary character, The Bride.

Thurman expressed her enthusiasm for revisiting the role after many years. She noted the unique opportunity to introduce the film to a completely new generation of fans. “I thought it was so cool… this is such a new audience for the movie,” she stated.

She also reflected on her long-standing creative partnership with Tarantino. “We’ve had an amazing life in movies together,” Thurman said. “I dare anyone to have more extraordinary experiences than I’ve had with this man.”

For Tarantino, who also provides the voice for the character Bill, the partnership felt like a perfect fit. He highlighted the natural crossover between dedicated “Kill Bill” fans and the vast Fortnite community. The director described the short film as a “lost chapter that I always wanted to see the light of day.”

This collaboration bridges the worlds of premium cinema and interactive gaming, delivering a new canonical story to both communities.

Fans can experience “The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge” directly inside Fortnite starting November 30. Additionally, the short will receive a theatrical screening. It will be shown alongside the complete “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair” cut beginning December 5.
