Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino has unveiled a new collaboration with the global gaming phenomenon Fortnite. The project brings a lost piece of his iconic film “Kill Bill” to a massive new audience.
Tarantino revealed the news at a special Fortnite event held at his Vista Theatre in Los Angeles. He shared that the initial meeting with Epic Games took an unexpected turn. He arrived expecting to discuss character licensing, but the company had a more ambitious vision.
The director recalled a specific idea he had envisioned years ago. He located the original concept, sent it to Fortnite, and the team immediately agreed to produce it. “They were, like, ‘Let’s do this.’ And here we are,” Tarantino told the audience.
The project, titled “The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge,” marks a major reunion with actress Uma Thurman. She returns to voice and perform via motion capture for her legendary character, The Bride.

She also reflected on her long-standing creative partnership with Tarantino. “We’ve had an amazing life in movies together,” Thurman said. “I dare anyone to have more extraordinary experiences than I’ve had with this man.”
